“I forgive you my darling lion.” Her heart was bursting with happiness and she could tell it probably showed. he nodded understanding he didn’t want to be taken care of. She still planned on keeping an eye on him anyway. she smiled at him and nuzzled into his mane happily. “I would love to stay with you, there’s no way I could not sleep with you by my side.” She could tell he was feeling guilty for not being around. “Please don’t feel bad. I want you to be happy you are home and that we can be together again.” She licked his cheek and purred at him. Her blue eyes shining brightly. Nadra couldn’t wait to have an actual future with Mauti and to tell her best friend.

Nadra smiled through her tears and nuzzled him. She couldn’t believe he was alive. “Stop apologizing to me you silly lion.” She sighed and tried to force back the tears so that she could talk with him normally. “I feel like I need to take care of you now. You are so beat up and it makes me feel so horrid.” She frowned looking him over again. All he needed was some tender loving care. “Perhaps I can stay in your cave with you…..I have been having issues sleeping alone lately.” She admitted looking away. she also hadn’t wanted him to think she thought he really needed. She was sure he didn’t but she wanted to be with him and make up for time they had missed. She wanted to make him strong and well again.

Nadra was feeling slightly less depressed only because of seeing her friend after so long. She had been so happy to talk to her best friend and confide in her again. The pale lioness sighed deeply and walked out of her own cave. She walked and found herself coming close to Mauti’s…

His eyes showed the pain he was feeling but he came over to her and nuzzled her gently. It was still her mate. She purred happily tears streaming down her pale face. she got lost in his scent. She buried her face in his mane not ever wanting to let him go again. In that instant she knew she would never want anyone else. She pulled away to look into his face and shook her head when he tried to apologize. “You have nothing to apologize for. I can see something happened to you otherwise you would have been here. I missed you so much. I thought you were dead and now here you are.” She bounced up onto her hind paws so that she could put her front paws around his neck and hug him to her. “I thought you had just left me and then I thought you had been killed somehow.” She whispered through sobs.

Nadra was feeling slightly less depressed only because of seeing her friend after so long. She had been so happy to talk to her best friend and confide in her again. The pale lioness sighed deeply and walked out of her own cave. She walked and found herself coming close to Mauti’s own cave. Her face fell a bit but she felt the need to go look inside one more time. Say good bye just to finalize things for herself. As she drew closer a scent hit her nose. A very familiar scent. Her heart tugged a bit and her eyes grew large. It couldn’t be. He had been gone for so long. She shook her head thinking her mind was playing tricks on her. Until she saw a lion. Her mate. He was alive. Tears swam in her eyes and trickled down her face. “M..Mauti?!”

Nadra smiled and allowed herself to melt into the hug. It had been quite a while since someone had just held her and comforted her. “It is alright Stara. There wouldn’t have been much you could do but I am glad to have found you again.” She shook her head. “I would hate to impose….
Magic anons certainly did make a lot of trouble in the pride lands. She felt lucky not to have run into many of them herself. She laughed thinking of her friend as a small cub. “I bet you were so cute! Probably no trouble at all either. I wish I could have seen it. At least then you would have some memory of your ordeal through me.” Nadra wasn’t surprised at Stara’s unhappy reaction of Kato. “I don’t know he just stopped hanging around suddenly. I certainly hope one day I can be happy with someone and not draw in all the trouble makers.” She shook her head doubtfully. “For now I will stick to having my friends and family around. I know they wouldn’t just leave or hurt me.”
